Affiliate disclosure

Current status: TossLocal has no affiliate or paid relationships right now. Links to junk-removal services on our guides are clearly marked placeholders.

In the future we may join affiliate or referral programs, for example with junk-removal companies. If you book a service through one of those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We may also show display ads.

Here's what doesn't change:

• Free and public disposal options are always listed first.
• Paid options appear in a separate, labeled "Or pay someone to haul it" section.
• Affiliate links will be marked and use rel="sponsored".
• No company can pay to change what a guide says about city rules.

This page will be updated before any affiliate link goes live, in line with the FTC's endorsement guides.
